The challenge was on. Carrie Cockrill and Brenda Luginbill from cb events-marketing needed to turn a warm September evening at Zen into a “polar” event for Euphoria VIP guests in search of “a higher state of food, wine and music.” The event duo went over-the-top with white leather ottomans, fur throws and rugs, an icicle chandelier and carved ice. To finish off the event, the floral décor was all white: roses, calla lilies, hydrangea, stock, cymbidium orchids and agapanthus. Accents of silver, snow and glass brought a chill to the room. Bring your wrap and bon appetit.
Euphoria is building Greenville’s reputation as a leading culinary and arts destination while also benefiting deserving charitable organizations. See euphoriagreenville.com for more details.
Be Seated: Guest seating on Chivari chairs in silver at tables of silver were kept clean and simple with a six-inch glass cube filled with water, synthetic snow and a cropped cluster of white calla lilies and hydrangea. Loops of sliver threads escape over the top of the flowers.
Get cozy: Relaxing conversation areas were created throughout Zen for casual gathering.
Behind the scenes: The focal centerpiece was created from 100 stems of white, softly fragrant stock. Seated on a 40-inch tall glass vessel, the arrangement is actually made in an oasis on a clear plate and then placed on top of the vase. Fill the base of the vase with silver coiled wire or drifts of snow.

Here a low, circular container is filled with crushed ice (acrylic) to surround the simple mounded collection of callas, orchids and hydrangea. Silver curly willow twigs capture the eye and pull it inward.
