A quest for more open space and additional light started the wheels turning for what John Reynolds refers to as “the final phase” in renovating the family home. Sharon smiles when confiding that “to me, there’s one more coming,” but whatever the case, the Reynolds family has weathered three renovations so far with great success.
The latest addition was 18 months in the planning before construction ever began, and according to John, included “renovating the kitchen and every room that touched it!” The result is a warm and inviting space for friends and family and a perfect backdrop for the art collection Sharon says has a special meaning in each piece.
“I buy art because it has a personal attachment. I either have painted with the artist or I have a connection to them in some way,” Sharon says.
We spent a lovely day with the Reynolds family and walked away from such creativity pretty sure we hadn’t seen the end of what Sharon has in mind — until her husband finds out, anyway.
