Eligible bachelor and real estate attorney Darryl Holland says he renovated his home with a long-term goal. “I bought it with the intention of never leaving it,” he says. “The former owners had taken a 2,300 square-foot ranch-style home that sat over two car garages and renovated it by turning the garages into heated square footage and also adding additional square footage. I bought it in 2007 and spent a year working on the space. By the time I finished, almost everything inside the house was renovated.” The end result is a spectacular space with a surprise around every corner and interesting collections of artwork and local antiques.
